1. All blogs are published under the Creative Commons Public License. Basically you permit anyone to copy, distribute, display and perform your content (royalty-free) on the condition that they credit your authorship each time they do so. This license also permits RSS aggregators to copy, distribute, and display any content on your blog that you syndicate. All content on your blog is syndicated for RSS, although you may change this setting in your dashboard.
2. Posting conduct. In general, you may post content freely to your blog and to those of others hosted at DiaryHosting.com, so long as the content is not illegal, obscene, defamatory, threatening, infringing of intellectual property rights, invasive of privacy or otherwise injurious or objectionable. All content posted must be original and owned by you, or protected by fair use. DiaryHosting.com does not pre-screen, is not liable for, and may remove any content that we feel is a violation of our terms of service or that we have reason to believe may be in violation of a copywrite.
3. Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability. This site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. DiaryHosting.com makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the site’s operation or the information, content or materials included on this site. To the full extent permissible by applicable law, DiaryHosting.com hereby disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for any particular purpose. We will not be liable for damages of any kind arising from the use of or inability to use this site.
4. Privacy policy. Any information submitted to DiaryHosting.com, either upon registration or by posting, may be publically displayed for use by DiaryHosting.com. Our logs collect and store information such as IP addresses, cookie information, to compile reports, etc. If you don’t want your information accessible, then don’t submit it. We do not engage in unsolicited spam nor will we release your email address to any third party for such purposes. Also note that we do not provide service for children under 13 years of age.
5. Spam. We don’t like spam, not even the kind in a can. We define spam as posting content which provides little to no value for your visitors, with the sole purpose of increasing a another site’s link popularity or search engine rankings. Automated posting of regurgitated, link-filled gibberish is especially annoying. Rest assured if your blog is created for the sole purpose of spamming, it will be flagged and removed.
6. Copywrite complaints. We respect the work of others and require our users to do the same. If you believe that your work has been copied and is accessible on this site in a way that constitutes copyright infringement (not fair use), or that your intellectual property rights have been otherwise violated, please contact us.
7. Modification of these terms of use. We reserve the right to modify these terms of use at any time. You, by continued use of our service, are responsibe for regularly reviewing said terms to ensure you’re in compliance.
